The Roman numeral for four is IV, which when said aloud, sounds like ivy. But enough about that: here's Minecraft.

The Mushroom Land IV:

MY TREE!!! It's getting bigger and bigger by the day!

Then I saw Steve again during the next night while on a walk, continued growing my big tree and got JUMPSCARED BY THE WANDERING TRADER AND THE TRADE LLAMAS the following night >:0

The Mushroom Land IV:

Perhaps the llama is here to eat the moss? This tree will be surrounded by moss, podzol, mushrooms, grass and more so I guess this llama's deciding if the tree is worth recommending to its friends later. The wandering trader looks different in this texture pack: a mysterious little guy with a purple scarf and an obscured face. The trades are still bad though. But until I get a librarian with a silk touch trade, I'll just have to hope the wandering trader returns with better trades like podzol or whatever else I like to landscape with.

The Mushroom Land IV:

On Day 18 I decided to take a break from tree growing and mine more iron for shears and a new axe. I checked the exposed mineshaft to see if the pee coloured dragon had left yet, but it showed no sign of getting bored of the place yet, so I just wandered around until I saw some exposed iron in a little ravine and went mining from there. As I was mining in a cave, I came across the rest of the mineshaft, dilapidated as they tend to be at the edge of that structure generation, but definitely a safe bit of the mineshaft. A chest maybe?!?!? GOOD LOOT?! MY FIRST DIAMOND?!?! Of course, if I ran into that dragon or any other dragon for that matter, I would be toast. So I cautiously stayed within a small area. Mined some oak fences to add detail to the tree with later, got a few free torches and then I heard "bruhhhhhhh....."

I had discovered a zombie spawner with a lot of zombies. But the mineshaft had its rails going through their room, so they got a bit confused and I'm pretty sure only one of them noticed me. I hastily fenced them off and started a zombie XP farm. Usually I would mine the spawner away, but it was too far from where I stood and I did not want to be bombarded by a big zombie family. I stayed there slaying them for a bit. That's my first ever mob farm in Minecraft, and I've been playing since like, 2012!

Anyway a trio of zombies spawned wearing full maid outfits and a couple of them wore animal tails.

They.. hugged each other?

Yeah so that was a thing that happened in Minecraft. It's part of a mod I was eyeing for a while called Kawaii Dishes by Curseforge user jheffaolanches, but couldn't use because it hadn't been released for Forge 20.4 then. Actually that's why I switched to 20.1 for this world. Then I saw a 20.4 update. Oh well, there's plenty of other cool Minecraft 1.20 mods that don't go above 20.1, so there's that if you're interested in playing with mods.

I returned to my tree and continued bonemealing azalea shoots, cutting wood, shearing leaves, adding to the tree, leaves to bonemeal.. rinse and repeat up to day 24 where I decided it would be useful to get that silk touch enchantment sooner rather than later so that I can landscape with podzol. I like podzol because it reminds me of forest dirt and if you've actually been to a forest, the ground mostly consists of dirt. Like, there's plants and bits of grass but it's mostly dirt. Especially around trees. So I set sail for the southernmost village near the mangrove swamp. Oh! that biome has mud! That will be useful for landscaping too!

The southern village mostly consisted of stoneworkers, leatherworkers, masons.. stuff along those lines. Thankfully there was a single librarian amongst this dreary village. No silk touch enchantment, and I needed emeralds, therefore I went to the other village to see if any farmers were about since their trades are generally easy to do. It has four farmers, a mason (I think it is, but I forgot) and a couple of baristas. There are three cafés in town, so uhh, do they share the third one or something? Anyway one of the farmers wanted wheat, so I mined the wheat blocks and harvested the wheat from their farmland until it reached the next rank, and then came the realisation: this Kawaii Dishes mod makes the farmers BUSTED.

All those sweet berry looking bushes that now spawn everywhere are actually coffee fruit bushes, and sometimes a farmer wants to trade those for emeralds. They are so common that I can now milk this farmer for emeralds. Perfect~

Meanwhile their iron golem had not left the beachfront café for days and the barista just kept feeding it coffee. If this was hard mode then all the villagers would have died ages ago. Well that just won't do, so the following day, I pushed this large robotic chunk of iron away from the caffeine and out onto the beach and the nice blue sky. Hopefully rehab is going well for this golem.

I made it back to the southern village for the next day and saw a roof go up in flames.

I traded with the librarian to see if it would get a silk touch book on its next level, but even after milking the farmer for emeralds, I still didn't have enough. And no, this librarian does not give good trades, so I shall reset its trades at a later date. Lastly, I returned back to the mushroom island with some spare coffee fruits, planted some near my tree to start a coffee fruit farm for the farmer, and ended it there.
