This is the ULTIMATE Factions guide
This is the guide that has it all: Do that! and Don't do that!'s, Warnings, Helpful Tips, and a summary
Any other questions? "NO!" Okay, good! Let's start getting ready for your base! Make sure you've read the two Spoilers, so you know what to do your first day.
To build a half decent base, it's reccomended to have:
-An Iron Pickaxe
-At least 32 Raw Beef or Porkchops. (Beef is reccomended, don't kill pigs! D: Kill cows instead! :D
-Some Stone
-16 Logs, or 64 Planks.
Start building the base and craft 2 chests for now. You can always get more wood if you need to. Be sure to type /sethome in your base. After that's done, make a Wooden Door and place it to an entrance near a cave or somewhere else. This isn't going to be your permanant base, because it simply won't do against the big factions with 24 people in them. After that's done, go and mine.
DO NOT AND I REPEAT, DO NOT TP PEOPLE INSIDE OF YOUR BASE! They'll probably kill you and take all your loot! They don't care wether it's Diamonds or Coal, it's still stuff they didn't have to get themselves! You can also start finding bases. Once you move on, you can start making a bigger base. Make it in the sky this time, so people won't expect to look for it. Also, if you can, make it out of Obsidian, and place it in the middle of an Ocean, or preferably, Deep Ocean. Even if you die, it's still worth it in the way that your base is a lot more secure.
So, once you've upgraded your base, type /f to see all the faction commands. The vitals are listed below, but it's good to have acess to a full list instead of typing random words hoping it's a command.
/f home-Teleports you to your faction's base. /f home
/f homeset-Sets a base for your faction. /f homeset
/f open-Toggles the ability for people to need invites. (Turn it off, if it doesn't start that way.) /f open
/f invite-Invites people to your faction. (Don't use it quite yet!) /f invite MrCow2254
/f leave-Leaves your faction and if you are the leader, disbands it too. /f leave
/f kick-Used for kicking misbehaving players out of your faction /f kick cailanrocks
/f title-Name people in your faction. /f title cailanrocks Owner
And obviously, the two commands that are the most important
/f create-Creates a new faction. /f create TheRaven
/f desc-Makes a description for your faction. /f desc We're the Ravens of this server!

What is Factions?
Factions is a popular PvP game in which the player must assume a role of the leader, moderator, or member of a guild and raid other guilds that may threaten to raid your's.
How do you play Factions?
You normally start off with items, and sometimes a RandomTP sign located right close to the exit. It's reccomended if it's night, to wait it out to the point the only mobs left are creepers and other peaceful mobs. It is good to gather wood the first day, not yet making a faction. If you can get at least Iron Armour by the 1st night, you're off to a good start. Once past there, it's explained in the guide.
