Everyone has things that annoy them. You would have to be perfect to have nothing annoy you, and since no one's perfect, well yeah. So today I'm going to be talking about things that annoy me. Also, remember that some of these things only annoy me, but if they annoy you then tell me in the comments so that I know I'm not alone. Alright, let's get started!
Destructive People
I don't get why some people seem to just enjoy blowing things up. I know I had one friend who said that he rebuilt one of his Minecraft creations twelve times because he kept blowing it up. I mean seriously! Why would you spend so much work building something just to blow it up! What are you even doing, training to be terrorists that you need to blow things up! Ok, maybe that was a bit dramatic, but I don't understand why you find destruction so fun. By the way, the same friend who said he blew up his creations wanted me to blow up my creations, because he thought that would be "fun".
Paying for builds
Is it just me, or is it annoying that people are now demanding money to build for others. Is it that hard to make a hub that you need to ask for payment? Do people not find building fun enough that they would build someone a hub just because they find it fun? Yes, sometimes a lot of work is put in, but I still think people should build because it's fun, not because they're getting money for it. I really don't have much else to say about that.
People who have bad update suggestions
I used to be on MinecraftForums a lot, and specifically in the suggestion section. And boy, are there a lot of bad suggestions there. One guy was saying that they should buff creepers to be twice as strong, and add super creepers that could fly and go through walls. And on the app store, there were also a lot of bad suggestions in the reviews for Minecraft PE. One of them said that there should be bouncy clouds, and another said that there should be rockets so that you could go to the moon.
And here is the one to top them all. Someone on MCForums suggested that, drum roll please... Minecraft and Roblox should merge! Right off the bat I knew that this was a horrible suggestion, and I told that to the guy who made the post. I mean seriously, you'd think people would be smart enough to realize that some of these ideas are bad, or just don't fit into Minecraft. Yet they seem to think that these ideas are amazing. For example, the person who suggested op creepers saying to like the post so that Mojang could see it.
Non-Minecraft blogs on PMC
Don't get mad straight away, just hear me out on this one. PMC is a Minecraft website, right? Well then how come when I go looking for blogs about Minecraft, instead I find a bunch of art, stories, and poems, and almost none of them Minecraft-related. I'm not saying that they're low quality or bad, I'm just saying I don't think they belong on PMC. I also feel that they crowd out other blogs that are Minecraft related, as if I look at the recently updated blogs in the home page, two or three out of six are always art blogs.
Honestly if I had made PMC I would've said that only Minecraft or site-related blogs should be allowed, or maybe only site, Minecraft, and gaming related blogs (The blogs that have to do with other games don't bother me, since everyone on PMC plays video games). But, since I didn't make PMC, and most people seem to enjoy all the art, stories, and poems, I guess I'll just have to live with it.
Just to be clear, the main reason I don't like them is because they're not minecraft-related, if they were then I'd be fine with them.
People who constantly complain about 1.9 and the war about it on the PMC Forum
Why do people still complain about this! It's been over a year and people are still complaining! There was one guy on MCForums who actually made a suggestion thread saying that 1.9 combat changes should be removed. And then there's the "Vanilla-Only Cult vs. Order of 1.7" threads on PMC. Basically if you haven't noticed, for a while if anyone posted a thread that had anything to do with 1.7 or modding in newer versions, either someone says that 1.9 sucked and Avrona (one and only member of the Vanilla Only Cult) responds that 1.9 was great, or it's the other way around and avrona says he doesn't use 1.7 or some version because he likes 1.9+ better, and the Order of the 1.7 community (mainly Lachie1770) starts telling him that 1.9 ruined combat.
And then it quickly escalates into a flame war between avrona and Lachie, plus the people who don't like avrona's view, until a mod comes and shuts it down. Yeah, I bet if I started a thread about 1.7 then this would happen, but I don't want to start a flame war, so instead here are the links to two of these if you want to see. Though lately I haven't been seeing any of these flame wars, so I hope it's all over.
Also, Avrona and Lachie1770 , sorry for calling you out, but you need to stop being so defensive.

Something that annoys me in general are people (or better called bots) who advertise their stuff on the site. It simply doesn't belong here, and it doesn't make sense.
Not to argue with you, but I didn't like 1.9.that much...
Except for the elytra!
I feel like you're a little harsh on the Blogs section, though. Some people only have access to this site to release their stories and such, since it's a bigger community that will give better feedback than other sites.
As for the paying for builds thing, let me explain this. If you are a server owner, and you ask a well-known builder/build team to build something like a server hub for you, that's like asking fora commission art piece on DeviantArt. Commissions cost money, and they want to ensure that their talents aren't being wasted on people who will just steal their work and claim it as their own.
I do NOT like the new attack system, I think there should be a gamerule for it!
The new attack system makes minecraft less "minecraft"...
Anyways, I can just install a mod to make the elytra for 1.7!
