Ok, in a totally different theme to my usual blogs, im gonna do a blog about a game ive been playing a fair bit of recently, that goes by the name of Tribes Ascend. If any of you watch any of Totalbiscuit's mailbox videos, then theres a more than fair chance that you will know about this game, but for those of you who don't, here is a bit of information. Tribes Ascend is a relatively new PC exclusive FPS, and possibly one of the most fast paced FPS's ever. With the slowest class travelling upwards of 100MPH, and the fastest upwards of 250MPH, its definitely a game that requires skill. The game has 9 classes, all of which have easy to define roles in gamemodes. There are various maps and and gamemodes, as well as accolades for everything from repairing the base to getting a 5 in 1 shot kill.
Anyway, the real point of this blog was to get a bit of a spotlight on a game which (in my eyes) is probably one of the most under hyped games of this year. And also to see if anyone here shared a similar interest in the game.

So theres new update out, so this is just a quick update on whats new:
A new CTF map, Tartarus. Although aesthetically impressive, this map has a very open flag point, and easy to reach generator room.
A new Arena map, Hinterland (Or something like that). The same style as Tartarus, however this is a circular arena with an island in the middle surrounded by a pool of deadly liquid.
New pricing system. The gold bundles have now been re-done. You no longer get XPboosters, but you do get far more bonus gold.
There are now 4 equipment set outs for each class, 1 is open by default, the rest are unlockable.
A deal of the day has been added. Every day an item you haven't already got is available at a cheaper gold price. The item changes daily.
