Trolling younger kids almost seems like it could be it's own genre, it spams my subsription and recommended feed, it's everywhere, and it's absolutely revolting.

Minecraft is a game that little kids love to play, whether it's by themselves, or with others. At a young age, you have all these whacky dreams and ideas that nobody would have ever thought of, and what better way to put it than in minecraft? Kids love building all these insane buildings, mining for diamonds and resources, and in general, having a good time.

They spend and put so much time into what they desire. They are young, so they have a lot more time on their hands than us teenagers, so why not spend months and months working on their dream? Let's face it, when we were new to minecraft, possibily even now, you would spend so much time on a build or peice of art, it just becomes a crave.

Childrens minds aren't fully developed, so they will add random's over the internet, and what do you know? It's a big youtuber ready to blow up his entire world! It's just revolting, watching a poor 8 year old cry as all his hard work is blown to smithereens by a 17 year old teenager choking on his own laughter.  I don't see what entertainment is provided by this content, whether most of us today are cold-hearted, or love watching 8 year old children cry.

Lot's of the titles are things like "LITTLE KID WHO THINKS HE IS PEWDIEPIE GETS TROLLED AND RAGES".
They think they are pewdiepie? So what?
It's a natural behaviour for little children to pretend. They look up to him, so they pretend to be him. Stereotypically, children always pretend to be superheroes such as spiderman, superman, and so forth, but what is wrong with it? If they like pretending to be a large youtuber, so be it, no need to blow up there months of hard work for the sake of 100000 peoples viewing pleasure.

Sure, little kids can be a bit of a pest at times, but we need to understand they are still growing up, and are yet to learn qualifications of life, and what they can and can't have. As much as they annoy you, treat them like an angel, maybe they'll look up to you, and become a brighter person. There is no need to destroy all there hard work for the sake of youtube. Let them be, and let them have fun. Let them chase there dreams, let there minds go beyond the limits.
Don't destroy it.

i think the problem with trolling young kids is because they dont actually KNOW they're age but trolling is still lame

He's funny, he's smart, he's good at videogames and he has even more going for him apparently according to his subscriber count.

People grief and troll in Minecraft because they think it is funny, or at least that is the case most of the time. The internet is the wild west of the modern day: anyone can do just about anything they want to and usually don't get caught. We play in a software-cold world full of people who love to ruin others for fun. The sad truth.

I disagree. When a parent buys their child Minecraft and lets them play on Singleplayer, that's fine. When said parent lets their child play on Multiplayer, they should be aware that their child will be playing with random strangers. The parent should supervise if the child is under a certain age, but of course that never happens and the child will experience being trolled. Do I think the trollers are in the wrong? Sometimes. It depends on the scenario. Are the parents in the wrong? Hell yes they are. They allowed their underaged children to play with random people on the internet which they knew included bad people.

As for the actual child, I find that on a lot of videos the reason the trollers troll the child is because they're trash-talking, being extremely annoying, being racist or just swearing at other people. When they do get trolled, a valuable lesson is learned: Treat people how you would like to be treated. Of course, this isn't always the case and there are better ways of teaching him, but still.
