Preparing For Christmas In Minecraft
Boy, didn't that year go by quickly? Christmas is under 2 weeks away, and we need to start preparing!

Well, here is a guide that'll (hopefully) get your set up and ready for this christmas!

Let's start of with the simple things that'll instantly make a massive impact on your game!
Begin with downloading a Christmas-like resource pack. I recommend Sphax Christmas. Grass becomes snowy, trees are decorated, and everything has a lovely Christmas feel!
♪♪ Now, let's get started with the sounds! ♪♪
I am not sure if the discs are Christmas tunes, but I am sure it would. If not, you can do that yourself!
All you have to do is download the song, and place it into the sounds file! (Make sure it's a .ogg file)
If you're that lazy, just play some nice Christmas tunes in the background! I recommend playing the song featured below! ↓↓↓↓
Ahh, the sounds of bells jingling. Don't you just love the feeling?
Now let's get started on the building!
We obviously can't forget....
The Christmas Tree!
It can be the height of a 4 story mansion, or enough to fit in your cozy little cottage! Add chests around (Which should hopefully look like presents) your tree, and do what you can to make it look beautiful! ♥ ♥ ♥
After that's all sorted, make a nice fireplace. But make sure that you have the firespread gamerule disabled (/gamerule doFireTick false), otherwise it might end in disaster! If you have cheats disabled, do your best to prevent your house catching fire!
Who could possibly forget.... The chimney! (Connected to the fireplace)
How else is Santa going to give you your presents?
If you want to be even more creative, add smoke exhaling from the chimney, using cobwebs.
Now it's time for you to get your skin!
If you haven't already, upload a Christmas skin! You can't go without a super good looking Christmas skin!
A good place to obtain Christmas skins is on the skin contest for last years Christmas. Plenty of wonderful and creative designs free for download can be seen there!

❤Here are some things that you can do with your friends on multiplayer! ❤
You can't have a 'Merry Christmas' without your close friends, so here is an idea I had (that everyone else has probably come up with too)!
If you all have a Christmas tree, when your friend isn't online, place a few presents under his/her tree. It can be anywhere from building blocks to diamonds!
Another thing you can do is player a Christmas map! It could be adventure, survival, parkour, whatever you and your friends are comfortable with. With my friends, we are going to be playing survival in a snow globe, which will then be uploaded on our youtube channels.
