Hey guys and today I will be helping you with the basics of World edit or WE. Here's some background info:
WE is a well, World Editing plugin that changes minecraft building completly. With it you can create sphere's, cylinders, houses, spawns, and amazing creations 5x faster then hand building. But there's a problem, you know that World edit is a thing, but you have no clue how to use it. . . This is a problem that I will help you deal with.
So lets start out with the Base tool of the plugin. Your wand, to obtain it simply type //wand. So now that you have this wand, you're probably wondering what the heck you're supposed to do. Lets say you want to turn an area of 20 blocks of grass into stone. You would walk to one corner of the square shaped area and right click, then go diagnol to the other side and left click that block (P.S: Blocks have to be in reach limit to contact). So now you have this area selected, but you still don't know how to turn this into stone in a few keys. You can simply turn this into stone by typing //set stone (can also use IDS). Okay so now that you have the floor done now, but you want to make walls. All you need to do is go to one corner and build up as high as you want your walls to be, right click the top block. Then you need to go to the diagnol corner and right click the block that is IN the floor. Now simply type //walls (ID) and poof you have walls. If you want the roof to be flat go to the top of the building, select one corner, then go diagnol and select the other and type //set (ID). Oh no!!! You accidently did something wrong, no biggie just type //undo
So now that you know the basics, lets get a little more advanced. Lets say you accidently blow up a bunch of tnt and don't want to WE it all out. You can go to the top of the hole and type //fill (ID) (Radius) (Depth) for example say the radius was 30, and the hole was fifteen blocks deep I would simply type //fill grass 30 15 and the hole would be gone. Lets say you accidently flood the lands with water. It's quite an easy fix actaully. Step into the liquid ( I assume you're building this in creative ) and type //drain (radius). Just some quick advise, I wouldn't use a big radius or you may crash the server.
More advanced stuff you say? :OOO. Lets say you want a mixture of blocks. Gurl, that is one easy fix, simply select your points and type //set (FirstID) then seperate the other IDS you want with commas. Example: //set 49,23,21,24 would even out these blocks into the edit. Lets say you want another one of your creations. Simple, select the whole creation and type //copy (Copies BD to your clipboard) Then find the area you want it to be and type //paste (Will move it relatively to your POS)
These are just some very, very basic world edit commands for the newbies out there, and maybe it can help some of you that know it a bit.

Copy, paste, and rotate should probably be taught near the beginning and go into detail. They are pretty basic functions that almost everyone will use much more frequently than //fill or //drain.
