[Popreel][Tutorial]Techniques For Correct Advertising

Hello PMCers.
today i want to give some of you a few advices and tricks,how you can make your advertisement more attractive.
First of all, keep the spam rule in mind, spamming the link to your most recent skin, will get you nowhere.
And you will probably get a nice gift from our nice staff, an infraction.

With this said, lets head over to our topic: Advertising in the PMC Chat.
You might think:"Ha, hold my beer this is easy, just copy'n'paste the link in there and hit enter!"
But having the blank URL lost somewhere between the thousands of messages wont lead to any profit.

So here is the Advice No1:

Embed your URLs in a nice text.

I mentioned a text. This text is essentially important for the advertisment. Just typing : "lel, new skin, check it out!" or
"newwwwwww proooooojeect!!!!!!!!11111oneoneoneelevenonehundredandone" is not attractive at all. Here are some easy and short ways to say, that e.g. you started a new project or made a skin,blog etc.

"Hey everyone, I started this project of a bathroom tub recently..."
"Hey guys, I tried a new technique on my most recent skin of a duck..."

So here is Advice No2:

Be polite and describe what your post is about. Being respectful to others, will cause they being more respectful to you.

Sure, just saying what you did, is not enough. Another thing you should keep in mind is pretty simple. Say how important it is to you, that people check out the project and ask for feedback, this is a sign of respect and will gain you more respect. Other then that people will take you as a mature, clear minded person.
Examples:
Wrong: "....you noobs, check out this skin, its better then yours" "lol now check this out already!<.<"
Right: "Hey everyone, i would appreciate if you could check out my recently uploaded skin, i would love to see your feedback to improve my skills, so i can provide better work as time progresses"

So here is Advice No3:

Always ask for feedback and say that you appreciate that they are taking time to check out your project.

One last thing to mention is, that people might be busy while in PMC chat. So dont annoy people, by PMing them with your link.

So here is Advice No4:

Keep calm and blame Paril give people time to check out your project and give comments, etc.

Also(thanks Knarfer for reminding me of this point) just saying " hey guys, I made this and that" is not enough, you need to add something personal and recognizible to your advertisements. Example:
"Gerenzoo here again, with a new blog/skin/haircut....and always stay fresh"

So here is Advice No5:

Find your personal style or maybe a slogan, so people recognize you better and to stand out of the mass.
