Uploading Skin Problem?

Hey there, sorry I haven't been posting skins like I was supposed to. I've been having this problem where I select the skin, click save, then it doesn't do anything but pop up this tiny little picture the every single time. I have some really cool skins I want to post, such as my personal skin, but this bug keeps preventing me from doing it. if you know how to solve this problem, will you please comment your answer?

the same thing kinda happens with armor layered skins, it says invalid dimensions, im wondering how others uploaded theirs...

EDIT: Figured it out, It was a GIF file XD (GIF so I could get transparency)
