G'day ladies and gentlefolks, today I'm writing a blog about what it means when someone says that a staff member abuses his powers.
Power abuse means a person with higher privileges is using said privileges in a harmful way. An example of this is when a moderator abuses his WorldEdit privileges to go on a wild destroying spree or when he uses his kick/ban privileges to kickban people for multiple times for no goddamn reason.
You should NOT report for power abuse when the moderator kicks you for breaking the rules because it is a valid reason. You should also not report for power abuse when the moderator is only joking around and undoes the damage he/she caused as ultimately nothing was lost.
An example would be if a moderator bans you but immediately unbans you or if he world-edited your creation but undoes it. However, if he does this constantly, and constantly means 7 -8 times, that does count as power abuse. You should also not report for power abuse if you have no proof as the owner is likely to side with his own staff than with a random member of his server.
If you report for power abuse, and that reason is valid and if you have proof, chances are the moderator will be demoted. This may or may not happen depending on what the Owner thinks is valid and invalid.
If you report for power abuse and that reason is just outright stupid. Most people on the server, prepare for much backlash from the moderators in the server. In other words, this will not end well. Believe me, I've tried.
Get the hell out of that server. If the owner and staff are corrupt, you will not have a great time there. Really. The staff will keep destroying your stuff and eventually you'll leave anyway, so save yourself some effort and just leave the server.
Thanks for reading! This post has been based on my experience and it would really help if you'd leave a diamond because this is my first actual Advice-Duck blog.

What do I do if the Owner refuses to demote/ban said staff even though there is proof?
