What is Planet Minecraft?

Planet Minecraft is basically a website to submit your texturepacks,mods, projects,skins,servers,blogs, and all that great stuff. And you might be saying, "Well, doesn't other sites like, MC fourms and novaskin have that?" Well, yes... But this site will protect your stuff from other people stealing it! There are moderators that make sure everything on this website is safe for you to use. And on this website you can also not just post stuff, but look and download stuff! :D This website is probably the safest and best website to use if your looking for all things minecraft!

Texturepacks & Skins

Texturepacks and skins are the two things that you need to do by your self 100%, no help. You cannot use stuff like, Filters & templates, That counts as stealing, and causes copyright issues. Using shading templates is like grabbing $100 from someones wallet and saying it's yours. Also you cannot just grab images from the game and make textures that are basically the same image but HD or something like that. You cannot find a random texturepack or skin and post it on your profile and say it's yours. You can however, do so if the owner of the skin or texturepack says other wise. Also if the owner of it says other wise, then you have to show proof. Like some signature from him/her or at least a comment from the owner of it that says you can.

Servers

Here comes the server topic. In my opinion, the most confusing setup. Now with servers, You have to have proof that the server is yours. And it's not as simple as, "This is my server". You have to type in your server IP. And then you have to type in the server port. The default port is :25565. And then when they make sure the server IP is a real server IP, they ask you to change your MOTD (Message of the day). To do so you need to, Go to ServerProperties.txt and scroll down and you will find the MOTD. Then when your done that, I recommend taking pictures of your server and posting them on the post. And add a description. Then your done.

Blogs & Forum

These two subjects involve a ton of typing. Blogs you type about what you want your blog to be about. (No duh). Blogs don't really require allot of work. Just typing. And adding photos 'n stuff. In the blogs section you can post comics,art,lets plays,story's,interviews, And more! Now the forum section is like.... the important version of blogs. You type long,fun, and cool stuff there. Stuff that's off topic of the rest of the subjects, And on topic of the rest of the subjects. :P The forums is where you talk about everything (kind of...). I don't really go on the forums so I don't know much. :D

Chat & LiveTV
Chat is basically what is says... Chat! You just chat with people who are on the chat section. Yes, you can chat with moderators, but only if they are on the chat. LiveTV is where people from TwitchTV can live stream their videos!
