In Hunger Games and other PVP games like Sky Wars you get an Axe now i know in sky wars that  may come in handy but in hunger games? nope now dont say axe's can be used as a weapon which i KNOW but as you know the attack damage decreases by 1 from the amount of damage the sword it does (the material depends for instance a diamond sword does +7 attack damage while a diamond axe does +6 attack damage) now for some reason you may get an iron sword and a diamond axe then now you may say well iron swords does +6 damage so does the diamond axe so i can just throw away this iron sword and use the diamond axe well you're WRONG even though the sword and the axes do the same damage there is some advantages the sword has than the axe so lets start with advantage 1. basically a sword can "block" whilst an axe cant well as you all should know by blocking you can make it so you take half the damage as you would normally which an axe cannot do. thats the first advantage  the second advantage is that a sword takes off 1 durabilty point per hit while an axe will do 2 points at the same time so yeah i dont want to go too in depth about durbaility because that would take away the whole point of the blog. also quick tip you can check how much durability is left in an item by pressing F3+H at the same time if the debug mode is annoying just press F3 again but dont include the h otherwise it'll go away so just look at a DAMAGED item and it'll tell ya!
