Updated. The launcher says "Failed to update news java.net.SocketException: Permission denied: connect"
If you know wtf this means, comment. It's annoying that I can't get on servers now. PLEASE tell me what this means! PLEASE!!!

WHAT?! but launcher still says "can't connect to minecraft.net"!!!! wtf!!!! internet is fine!!!

Try logging in on Minecraft.net and see if it lets you (Make sure you type both username and password correctly.).If it doesn't you probably got hacked, so you'll need to change your password.I'm not sure though.

I'm able to log in on the launcher fine, though.

hm......it says that it failed to update the news. ill try changing my password though........how do i change my password? :D

-Goto Minecraft.net
-Click Log In
-Click "Forgot Password" Under the password thing.(If it doesn't say Forgot Password, it might say Change Password.)
-Enter your username then finish that.
-Wait for an E-Mail from Mojang.Probably about 15 or 30 Minutes, not sure.
-The E-Mail they send you should contain a link to a page that allows you to enter a new Password, so enter a new one then finish that.
-Wait a few seconds for the new password to set then try to log in again.
