Well I can and can't agree with this. This has many valid points (which in my opinion are the best), but there is the part where you may not know the whole story (my more recent blog says a little on that). But with me, I don't see much of that. It can be annoying when I do, because it's a minigames server I saw it on, where people rarely saw each other twice. Now recently, I do have affections for a girl but I don't go spamming up a server about it, you could always suggest to those people to use /msg and that would do most of the trouble away, and most often I don't see skype-requests except when someone is recording.

A really simple way to stop that is changing your skin in-game for something which could go both for a man or a woman, unless the account name gives that information, which would be a little contradicting xP
