Please, take this with a grain of salt.
Currently, we have 2 mobs revealed to be in the mob vote.
The Glare's function is to throw a fit to let you know when it is dark enough for a mob to spawn.
The Allay's function is essentially an early game hopper that moves. (Useful, right?)
I simply do not think it makes sense to vote for the glare. For one, F3 exists. In bedrock edition, the F3 screen does not exist. However, by turning smooth lighting off it is extremely easy to see where mobs can spawn. Additionally, with the 1.18 changes to light level, it will be extremely easy to figure out where mobs can and can't spawn anyways.
Additionally, most players in the late game could care less about the glare. It seems like an annoying mob in some cases.
When you vote, make sure you completely understand the point of these mobs. Additionally, do not let creators with a lot of influence sway your vote.

if copper golem wins mojang will add copper buttons, and when copper golem oxidizes it could look like a statue, and if do you add a copper button to a noteblock, he will be a very good DJ!
