So, what do people put in the story blog on PMC? Well, two things. Stories, like you see in a book, either short or maybe a small novel. The other thing is actual encounters they have, either in Minecraft or real life. I'm one of the people who write stories (the ones in a book) and you might want to know, if we get 10 views on a story, we think that's a big deal. At least for the stories. :/
Why Dono t People Read The Stories?
Honestly, I don't know. I have a couple theories why. a) People don't like to read b) Not everyone knows there's a story blog, and c) People but the crappiest thumbnails on the stories. Even I do. If you're someone who doesn't read the stories, maybe you can explain to the people who write them why.
Why Should We Read The Stories?
Here is a couple reasons why you should read the stories:
1. The people who write short stories or a small novel spend at least an hour writing it. And that might be for one chapter of a novel.
2. Lot's of people on PMC are very creative. And some of those people's creativity goes into writing. Or, people want to tell you about something that went on in their life. Either way, we want you to read it. Short stories and novels= entertainment and wanting to know if they're good. Encounters= Wanting to tell you something about their life. We're not spending so much time writing it for you to ignore them.
3. A lot of them are really good. I do see the encounter stories get more views than the story stories, but I just want to let you know that some of PMC's members could probably publish a book one day.
I know some of you just aren't fans of reading, that's okay. I'm not forcing anyone to read them. But a lot of you ARE fans of reading. And these stories are about Minecraft! Why WOULDN'T you want to read them!? People are writing fictional stories about Minecraft. Like I said, I'm not forcing anyone to read them, but the average view for stories is about 6. :(
Hope you liked this all you story writing people. It might help just a little bit. I get really aggravated when I spend hours writing a story, and I get one extra diamond and 10 views. If you have any suggestions for blogs, please leave them below. Thanks!
