As freezing water falls from the sky,
It's crunchy, cold, and crystalized.
Children laughing, having fun,
I just stand there feeling numb.
I've seen what snow can do to someone like me.
Someone like me who's not in their tree.
I try to escape, I try to run.
But I did not that I was done.
The snowball came flying, and I was filled with dread,
I screamed in horror as it hit my head.
It was when it fell into I my wings,
that I new I was dead.
The cold air made it hard to breath.
And the malicious boy fell to his knees.
Crying he brushed of the snow,
And shielded me from Winter's Blow.
Help save birds. Don't throw snowballs at them.
