Skinners have but one problem now ah days, finding inspiration!
If you brand-spankin' new, to being one of the oldest PMC skinners, inspiration can be a BIG problem! Well, Im about to give you some tips and ways to get the best inspiration, so be sure to read through!<3
How can I find Inspiration?
Easy! Look around! Take your eyes off your computer, and take a look around. What do you see? A boring room? WRONG! You should see a world of inspiration! See that new T.V you got a week ago? Yeah, that flat screen. What do you see? Just a boring t.v? I sure hope not! This is where inspiration should kick in! Maybe you just finished watching the last episode of Teen Wolf. Theres a idea! A wolf girl or boy! See? Its easy! Next, see that old book you never decided to read? Whats it about? Oh, a book about Space? cool. WAIT! Theres inspiration! A space themed girl or boy! See how easy it is?!
Ever Happend to YOU?
You bet your flying potatoes it has! I was taking a shower yesterday, when I was just about to grab my body wash, BOOM! It says "Country Chic" Bam! An Idea hit like that! And I literally just got a idea for a pretzel themed girl while eating my pretzal from Sam's Club! xD
Inspiration? Or Flat Out Stealing?
People have been inspired by others, but theres a dark side to this!
Stealing and being inspired are two different things.
For example, I am a little clueless on the Country Chic skin, but I can always find help! I like to browse similar skins when coming up with ideas. For instince, I might use Sugarbun's Country skin as a example and make something similar, exept, I am NOT just recoloring it and saying its mine. I can just find inspiration out of it. Its completely differnt. So, if you see someone that has a similar skin to someone ese you know, you should most likely put them side by side and compare. Becuase looks can be deciving.
