32ndDimension's Rune Enchants (More Enchants)

This Datapack is an extension of Minecraft's pre-existing enchant system, offering a handful of unique enchants in the form of Runes. In total, there are 13 new enchants, including enchants for all the armor pieces, swords, axes, pickaxes, bows, crossbows, and the trident. Although each item can only possess one rune (enchant), these runes are powerful and can completely change how the tool is used.

How to get started?

The first thing you'll need to do to get started is get yourself a Mythical Enchanter. To do this first collect 1 Echo shard and 5 pieces of Crying Obsidian, then place the Crying Obsidian down to form a cross pattern (as seen in picture 2), after this throw the Echo Shard down onto the central piece of Crying Obsidian. This will immediately summon the Mythical Enchanter. Despite this, there is little that this device can do without first doing some exploration.
To move, destroy, or pick up this item, place a piece of glass underneath the block of obsidian and this will give the closest player an Armor Stand that can redeploy the Mythical Enchanter.

Once you've done this the next thing you need to do is find some runes (as seen in picture 3), these runes a scattered across the different structures in your world, found either in a chest or by killing a mob unique to that structure. Upon finding a rune, return to where you placed your Mythical Enchanter and throw the rune on top of the piece of obsidian. Soon after, the game may display a message stating "This gem requires a ... to be in hand!", follow the instructions and hold out the needed item to place the enchanted gem inside that item, permanently enchanting the item. Completing this you now have your very first piece of equipment enhanced with a rune inside (as seen in picture 4).

What runes can I expect to find, and what do they do?

As previously mentioned, there are 13 runes. Below you can find what the runes do as well as where to find them.

Ensnare Rune [Found in the Jungle Temple] [For Swords] -> This Rune gives your sword a 1/3 chance to ensnare your enemy, preventing them from moving for 1 second. Then, half a second later, triggering an evoker fang to attack the mob.

Wither Resistance Rune [Found in the Nether Fortress] [For Helmets] -> This Rune simply prevents you from being able to be withered, cleansing it before it can damage you.

Treasure Seeker Rune [Found in the Ancient City] [For Pickaxes] -> This Rune allows your pickaxe to see nearby ores. If any ore is within a few blocks, even behind a wall, your pickaxe will begin making a chime noise and particles will appear around your feet. If the ore is diamond, the particles will glow a light blue, otherwise, the color of the particles is random. This rune is particularly useful when strip-mining.

Leech Rune [Found in the Stronghold (Library Chest)] [For Swords] -> This rune gives your sword a 1/4 chance to siphon your enemy's HP, granting you 1 and a half hearts in return.

Flippers Rune [Found in Buried Treasure] [For Boots] -> This rune grants you permanent dolphin's grace upon entering water.

Blazing Sun Rune [Found in the Desert Pyramid] [For Chestplates] -> This rune grants you a small amount of regeneration as well as permanent strength as long as you are outside during the daytime. (Ensure you are not below any blocks during the day)

Frail Rune [Found in the Igloo] [For Leggings] -> When a mob attacks you, there is a 1/4 chance that all nearby mobs will gain weakness 1 for 4 seconds.

Overpower Rune [Found in the Pillager Outpost] [For Crossbows] -> This rune causes your crossbow to give you slowness 2 whenever holding it in the mainhand or offhand. In return, any arrow fired from this crossbow will deal double damage.

Bloodthirst Rune [Found in the Woodland Mansion] [For Axes] -> This rune is an exceptionally violent rune that might best be left untouched. This rune gives your axe sentience and the constant yearning for death. Slowly over time, if you are not attacking anything your axe will start to drain you, inflicting slowness, weakness, and poison on you. If you still refuse to feed the axe's violence, the axe will eventually blind you and kill you. This persists as long as the axe is in your inventory, even if stowed away at the back. Despite this, dealing large amounts of damage and killing entities will allow you to enter a bloodthirsty rage, scaling with the amount of killing down. This can grant you a range of effects from speed to strength and even absorption and resistance, becoming virtually unstoppable upon reaching an all-out bloodthirst. However, as soon as the wielder stops killing, these powers will slowly dwindle until the axe begins to once more drain you of your power. (Dropping the axe will remove all positive bloodthirst effects)

Cannon Fire Rune [Found on Abandoned Shipwrecks (Treasure Chest)] [For Crossbows] -> This rune allows you to shoot tnt from your crossbow like an explosive cannonball. Doing this requires you to have at least 1 piece of TNT in your inventory and firing the arrow will cause the TNT to be taken from your inventory. The explosion is only 66.6% the power of a typical tnt explosion which may cause this to have little to no effect on blocks with a higher blast resistance.

Seadweller Rune [Found by killing the Elder Guardian] [For Tridents] -> This rune increases the trident's damage by 1 and greatly improves fish as a food source. Switching the trident to your offhand and eating the fish in your mainhand will cause the fish to restore an additional 2.5 bars of hunger, for a maximum of 6 bars of hunger from 1 piece of fish. Additionally, eating the fish will grant 1 minute of water breathing, which works great in combination with the flipper rune!

Brute Force Rune [Found in the Bastion Remnant (Treasure Chest)] [For Axes] -> This rune gives you a one-time second wind upon going below 5 points of health. Upon activation, you will instantly gain resistance and some health points back alongside a temporary shield. This rune can be used multiple times but has a 3-minute cooldown. You know if the rune is ready to be used because of black smoke that will appear below your feet if it is ready to be used.

Shulker Shot Rune [Found in the End City (Treasure Chest)] [For Bows] -> This rune transforms your bow so that your arrows will inflict levitation upon your enemies as if your arrows were shulker projectiles. There is no cooldown on this ability and can create a rather one-sided fight against most mobs.

In addition to the runes, there are 2 new rune-related achievements that can be gotten. This Datapack may have bugs as it was not been thoroughly tested, please say if you run into any bugs with this Datapack and I'll try to fix them.

With that being said two known issues are that eating fish with the trident in the offhand can be annoying/buggy without having riptide on the trident, and that sometimes the crossbow runes might change a different arrow's data.
