-- Dimension's More Bosses --

This Datapack introduces 3 new bosses, each of which are summonable (all crafting recipes are shown on the last slide) in survival, and drop their unique items. 1 is fought in The Overworld while the other 2 are fought in The Nether. In addition to this, the Soul Sand Valley is also reworked, to become more challenging and act as a suitable biome for the final boss.

Boss 1:
The Spider Queen:

Spawning
The Spider Queen is intended to be the first of the custom bosses to be fought. She does have a summoning item, however, there is another way to fight her, if it's the first time. Staying in a mineshaft for too long without staying near the light can cause the Spider Queen to spawn, although it comes with adequate warning beforehand. Spawning her this way will cause her to spawn on top of you, so it's best to have an arena set up if you're doing it this way.
(When using the summoning item, ensure that it is used in a mineshaft whilst the light level is below 2)

Fighting
The Spider Queen has 6 attacks in total and has 3 different phases that occur as you begin to damage her, some of the attacks only appear later in the fight. The Spider Queen has 180 max health.

Phase 1:
The phase the Spider Queen spawns in.

Attack 1: The Spider Queen poisons all nearby players. If the player is already poisoned, this attack instead deals a large amount of damage.

Attack 2: The Spider Queen teleports to the nearest player, going invisible.

Phase 2:
The second phase is indicated by cobwebs appearing around the Spider Queen. In the second phase, the Spider Queen gains resistance, strength, speed, and regeneration. She also learns 2 new attacks.

Attack 3: The Spider Queen places webs at her location and recovers a small amount of her HP.

Attack 4: The Spider Queen lays a handful of eggs behind her, if these eggs aren't destroyed within 9 seconds of being placed, spiders will come out of the eggs and join the Spider Queen in the fight.

Phase 3:
The third and final phase of the fight is shown by a large cluster of dark purple particles appearing. Here, the Spider Queen gains increased armor, as well as strength 2 and speed 3. Similarly to the previous phase, the Spider Queen further learns 2 new attacks in addition to regaining 2 thirds of her health.

Attack 5: The Spider Queen poisons the nearby area around her, poisoning anyone who steps inside.

Attack 6: The Spider Queen webs the nearest entity, placing cobwebs below them and debuffing them with Darkness.

Rewards
Upon killing the Spider Queen, there are 2 potential drops to be obtained. The first is a bow, which has the potential to web enemies successfully hit. The second is a chestplate that whilst wearing, gives the user a chance to poison enemies struck at melee range. Once the Spider Queen has been killed, she will no longer spawn naturally and instead need to be spawned with the craftable summon.

Boss 2:
The Blaze King:

Spawning:
The Blaze King is the next boss intended to be fought after the Spider Queen. He can only be summoned by using his summoning item in a Nether Fortress.

Fighting
Like the Spider Queen, the Blaze King has 3 different phases as well as 6 unique attacks, although the Blaze King has a tendency to be far more destructive! The Blaze King has 500 max health.

Phase 1:
The phase the Blaze King spawns in.

Attack 1: The Blaze King incinerates anyone close dealing a large amount of damage and setting them on fire.

Attack 2: The Blaze King shoots out a ring of fireballs in all directions, exploding on impact.

Phase 2:
The second phase is indicated by a cloud of orange smoke, at which point the Blaze King gains resistance and regeneration 2 alongside 2 new attacks.

Attack 3: A group of Blazes are summoned around the King, after 10 seconds the Blaze King consumes the Blazes, restoring health based on the amount of Blaze killed.

Attack 4: All nearby players with Fire Resistance have their Fire Resistance removed.

Phase 3:
Immediately upon entering Phase 3 the Blaze King will enter a stasis and become immune. After 10 seconds, a large explosion will occur and the Blaze King will exit his immunity and gain 2 new attacks.

Attack 5: Anyone near the Blaze King will be set on fire, this attack has a high chance of triggering.

Attack 6: Any players near the Blaze King will have their armor shredded, decreasing the armor stat by 8. This effect persists for 6 seconds.

Rewards
Upon killing the Blaze King, 2 potential drops can be obtained, both of these drops are immune to burning. The first is a Netherite Pickaxe, which causes Ancient Debris mined to drop a cluster of 2-4 Netherite Scrap instead, effectively giving the Pickaxe fortune on Netherite. The second is a pair of Netherite Leggings which increase maxhealth by 8, furthermore, the Leggings also give the wearer Strength 2 and Speed 1 whilst in the Nether.

Boss 3:
Animas Custos:

Soul Sand Valley Rework:
As mentioned before, in this Datapack the Soul Sand Valley is reworked. Now, entering the biome without a Guiding Lantern will cause the player to become blinded and take damage. A Guiding Lantern can be crafted (seen on the last slide) and whilst equipped to the offhand, will prevent a player from being afflicted with any debuff in the Soul Sand Valley. Alternatively, there are Soul Lamposts that can now be found in the Soul Sand Valley, as long as the player remains close to these lamposts, they will receive the same benefits as if they were carrying a Guiding Lamp. The Skeletons of this area are also reworked to be more durable and deal more damage. Moreover, they gain the ability to summon another Skeleton upon damaging the player. (To avoid dealing with the debuff in creative, tag yourself with mod by using /tag @s add mod)

Spawning:
Animas Custos, or the Soul Guardian is intended to be the final boss of the Datapack, and as such is considerably harder than the previous bosses. The boss is summoned by first equipping the Soul Lantern to your offhand slot, then entering the Soul Sand Valley, placing 4 black candles on each adjacent tile to you, and lighting them.

Fighting
The Soul Guardian's first form consists of 3 different phases with 5 unique attacks. Upon death, however, the Soul Guardian enters his second form the Soul Demon, effectively giving him 4 phases with 8 unique attacks.

Phase 1:
The phase the Soul Guardian spawns in.

Attack 1: A destructive glyph is placed on the ground at the Guardian's location. 8 seconds later, the glyph triggers dealing colossal damage to nearby players, this attack may act as a one-shot without proper armor and potion effects.

Attack 2: Like the Spider Queen, the Guardian teleports to the nearest player.

Phase 2:
A thick cloud of dark blue smoke appears and The Soul Guardian is given Speed 2 and Strength 2, making avoiding the boss considerably harder. Like every other boss, in his second phase, the Guardian gains 2 new attacks.

Attack 3: The Soul Guardian blasts the area in front of him dealing magic damage to those caught inside it. This attack deals less damage than the glyph attack of phase 1 but is immediate and far less avoidable.

Attack 4: Players standing over 24 blocks away will be cursed and required to run within 24 blocks of the Soul Guardian. If they don't return within 14 seconds, they will be teleported to the soul guardian, being blinded and withered. This attack is unlikely to affect any players not using a bow.

Phase 3:
The Soul Guardian becomes even faster in phase 3 gaining speed 3, as well as resistance 1, and 1 new attack.

Attack 5: A Soul Sand Valley Skeleton is spawned on the location of the Soul Guardian, with the same duplication ability as mentioned earlier.

Phase 4 (Soul Demon Form):
Once the Soul Guardian's health is mostly depleted, instead of dying, the Soul Guardian transforms into the Soul Demon, losing all his previous abilities and gaining 4 new ones instead.

Attack 6: The Soul Demon explodes the ground around him.

Attack 7: All nearby players are afflicted with the wither and additionally lose any absorption hearts they have.

Attack 8: The Soul Demon, like the Blaze King, can shred armor, although he does it more frequently.

On Hit Ability (Attack 9): When the Soul Demon hits a player, they are slowed and lose Fire Resistance if they had it. Moreover, The Soul Demon regains a portion of his health.

Rewards
Whilst the Soul Guardian technically drops nothing, the Soul Demon drops the best equipment that can be obtained in the Datapack. Alongside dropping diamonds, gold, emeralds, diamond blocks, and Netherite Scraps, The Soul Demon also drops his weapon, The Collector. This weapon deals massive damage and grants the player the same life-steal ability as The Soul Demon, also giving resistance upon dropping below 7 hearts. Adding to this, upon The Soul Demon dying, all players that participated in the fight will be granted a mythical golden apple that upon being eaten, will give the player permanent immunity to the affliction caused in the Soul Sand Valley, with or without a Guiding Lantern in hand.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Know Bugs To Be Fixed:
* Sometimes the Blaze King's projectiles can act like a TNT launcher and throw him into the air.

* The Guiding Lantern can sometimes accidentally be placed down, effectively causing the player to lose the Lantern and have to craft a new one.

Commands:
>> /function y:summon/... Summons the bosses instantly.
>> /function y:give/... Gives the craftable custom items.
>> /loot give @s loot y:entities/... Gives the drops for each of the bosses (may have to use multiple times for all the drops).

Hi, can you tell me what the issue is? If you run /datapack list does the datapack come up? Or is it something in particular in the datapack?

Okay, unfortunately, I don’t have my pc set-up so I can’t do any debugging for a few days. However some advice that I can give is:

- Test the Datapack in a single player word and see if it works.
- Try to install another Datapack (one that’s not mine) and see if you run into the same issue.

If it’s not showing up when typing /Datapack list it’s likely that the issue is to do with the setup rather than the Datapack itself, although I must admit I’m not an expert with Aternos Servers.
