    Actually Armored Elytra


    This resource pack and data pack combination allows you to see your chestplate's texture while also showing the elytra.


    ⚠️ Requirements:


    This DP+RP combi needs Vanilla Tweaks "Armored Elytra" Datapack to work correctly its not an replacement for the Vanilla Tweaks Datapack just a visual addon:

    ❗Incompatibility warning


    Some people seem to be experiencing problems when using the Datapack on servers where everything works correctly when manually modifying the item using Commands, but not automatically. I don't know what's causing this. The datapack works fine in single-player and also on my test server, so I have no idea what the problem could be.

    I know it's not ideal, but for now, you can use this command to manually modify the Elytra while holding it in your main hand, after combining it with a chestplate


    /item modify entity @s weapon.mainhand actually_armored_elytra:armor/netherite


    replace "armor/netherite" with the correct combined chestplate material eg: armor/diamond, armor/leather, etc

    - If the command does not execute or does not exist, you installed the datapack incorrectly

    - If the command executes but the item does not change its model, you incorrectly installed the resource pack

    So glad to find a working version of this type of mod/datapack. Thanks so much for keeping yours up to date. I do have a problem tho. my armor trim is not visible on the new item model. The main reason im trying to combine chest and elytra is for the fit. Just wondering if trim support is something you are planning on adding.
