Alv's Custom Hats aims to add more hats to the game and adds 20 new hats so far plus some new items as of the latest update.
You can craft these hats by dropping certain items on the ground with a carved pumpkin, throwing certain items onto the ground, or finding them while exploring.
Each hat has a unique purpose, some hats give effects depending on what it does.
Others are purely cosmetic.

If you find a bug or suggestion please comment on it I am not gonna read your mind and I want this to be very polished.
I will not be updating as much now as I have run out of many ideas and my summer is ending so I do not have much free time.

Note: Items could change in future updates, the way you find them, what they do, and their textures. I will also add more hats in more future updates so keep this in mind.

Made mob heads have unique purposes as well.
Creeper Heads give you weakness but immobilize anyone out of fear.
Zombie Heads give strength and slowness.
Skeleton Skulls give aimbot when crouching.
Wither Skeleton Skulls give the withering effect to mobs you hit.
The Dragon Head launches enemies into the sky and gives regeneration.

Small Issues (If you can even call them that)
Leather armor has been changed to look more metallic and does not have the leather texture you may know. If this bothers you, you can go right ahead and change it in the files but personally, it looks cleaner and better like this and it also brings the illusion that I am adding my own armor into the game without it looking like Hypixel Skyblock.

This huge update adds 3 new hats, new items, and a new armor set.

Inferno Helmet - This helmet gives you fire resistance and is slightly better than a diamond helmet.
Inferno Shield - Perfect for the Inferno Helmet, this shield when blocking damage, lights mobs near them on fire. It is also unbreakable.
Quartz Crystal - I'm gonna be honest I just added this to make 4 new things. When crouching it gives the player haste 2.
Ruby Armor! - This new set is the iron equivalent for the nether. It has the same armor points as iron plus half and armor bar. No tools yet.
Rubies - As a throwback to OG Minecraft, Rubies can be obtained by trading with piglins, who were originally the first villagers in Minecraft.
These rubies will be used for the Inferno items as well.
Withered Bone - Normal Bones but dropped by wither skeletons. Will do more with these in future updates.
Hoglin Tusks - Hoglin Tusks give the player knockback resistance when worn just like hoglins.
Hoglin Tusk - The Hoglin Tusk is an item that can drop from the Hoglin rarely that does 3 damage and has a fast cooldown. 2 of these and a carved pumpkin make the Hoglin Tusks.
Hoglin Spear - The Hoglin Spear and Inferno Shield go hand and hand. The Spear does +5 damage and has a very fast cooldown letting you kill mobs super fast. It can not be sharpened though. One huge reason to have it in the nether is the wart blocks. Since they do not despawn, you can use the spears to mine these very quickly.

Oh! How i can make custom models for some hats?
You can make custom models for hats by adding custom model data to pumpkins and giving them special models. If you give yourself a pumpkin with a tag on the item, you can also detect when a player has that item on and give special effects.
