Airborne
Airborne is a datapack for the Origins mod by Apace. This datapack adds one new Origin: The Airborne!
Airborne as a name comes from air, and borne to mean "carried by". The name therefore means "carried by air", even though it's also a pun referencing the word "airplane". This references the fact that Airborne is an Origin inspired by a Jet Plane, and gameplay-wise, it's meant as an alternative to Elytrian.

[+] Iron Wings
You have the ability to glide as if wearing Elytra, without needing to equip any.
Your Elytra uses the same texture as Iron Blocks.
[+] Heat-Based Fuel
You can idle in areas full of heat - such as near fire of lava - to fill up your fuel gauge.
[A] Tail Jets
Holding the sprint key mid-flight activates a continuous dash, propelling you forward.

While flying, you can hold sneak to activate the brakes, drastically slowing yourself down mid-air.

The rising hot air above lava and fire will propel you upwards if you glide over it.

Much like a fighter jet fires bullets, you can rapidly throw held arrows without using a bow.
[-] Noise Sensitivity
You cannot use fireworks to speed up your flight; however, you can eat them while crouching or braking to regain your fuel.
[-] Brittle Bones
You take more damage from falling and flying into blocks.
[-] Wheel Feet
You slip more on normal blocks when not sneaking, and you're 10% slower. Due to your wheel feet of course.
