Grave Poes
Grave Poes is a datapack inspired by the Legend of Zelda creature known as a Poe; lost spirits on their way to the afterlife.
In this datapack, anyone who dies will spawn a Grave Poe instead of dropping items or XP. This mob will linger at your death point, running away from you, climbing up walls, and sometimes even phasing through blocks.This works if you die to mobs, to /kill, to lava -- it even works in the void!

Requirements
The datapack was tested for vanilla minecraft in 1.19.x and 1.20. Any older or newer versions may break, and certain mods (especially grave mods) may be incompatible.If you want Poes to spawn from dying to the void, you need to enable keepInventory. The game will warn you if this is disabled.
