    Backpacks Datapack (1.17+)
    The first datapack [​2020] adding aesthetically pleasing datapacks, actually working and visible on the player model when held, without mods and in a multiplayer friendly-way.

    Backpacks can contain items, up to 27 slots!
    The backpack recipe is simple, and with the classic model come its coloured version.

    Just download the datapack and its needed resource pack

    (for servers, it can be renamed resources.zip and put in the world folder)

    and try it. For additional info consult the official WIKI of the pack or ask in the comments of this PMC page.

    Good day!

    FYI, 26.3-6 won't launch a save with the most recent version of this in it's datapacks folder. I haven't played in a bit and just discovered this today.

    I enjoy this mod a lot, but I'd like the ability to still hold a light source in my offhand. Is there a way I can do that with this mod? Technically the backpack is on our backs and we have a free hand to use... Let me knoW!

    The backpack actually is in the off hand.

    So no, you can't hold something else.

    Greeting! I'm playing a fresh world in 26.1 rc.2 and it looks like the explorer backpack texture and model has stopped working. The other three versions (both chest and the camping) are fine.

    how exactly do i download the resource pack, as i downloaded the data pack itself and it works but i don't want the backpack to be a missing block texture

    Yes, it looks like modrinth isn't suggesting rp file download even though the resource pack is set as required.

    I've just added a download link for the resource pack only here on the PMC Page.
