Backpacks Datapack (only 1.17+)
This datapack adds backpacks in vanilla, you just need to use a resource pack and a datapack. It really adds backpacks. They contain items! You can set the datapack in a server with the resource pack as world resources and no one will need to download and install anything to enjoy the backpacks on him!
27 new Slots.
At the moment there are not all colors for Backpacks. I'll add others soon.
This datapack is only for 1.17+ versions.

How does the datapack work?
In the datapack media gallery you can see how to craft a backpack. Then you need to put it on your second hand and will be on your shoulders! Right-Click and you will open the backpack. Now go to your inventory and you will see you can't find anymore your things! You didn't loose them, keep calm. They are now in the backpack. Put some things you want in your inventory. Come back to the game, click again and... change! Now you will get again your old things and put the new things in the backpack. You sure can't put backpack in backpack. But you can have as many backpacks as you want in your hotbar!
How can I uninstall the datapack?
Just type (owning the permission to use /function) this command:
/function ulg:backpack/uninstall
And then remove the file!
I hope you'll like this wonderful datapack, the first og one [from 2020] that really adds working backpacks.

I've ran into a problem. I run a company hosted server on 1.21.4 and did a /reload (which I now learned typically shouldn't be used on company hosted servers). In short, the backpacks are no longer useable in off hand, right clicking wont do anything anymore.
I tried running the function uninstall command from an earlier version of the data pack, but there's no command I can find to uninstall it. Any help is appreciated!

Be sure you're using the version for 1.21.4 and that there are no duplicates of the pack inside the datapacks folder.
Also, uninstalling is actually nothing less than removing the files from the datapacks folder (and add the new ones in case of update, then type /reload)
Check the update logs for details.
