What is Better Compass?


This data pack provides a light alternative to the F3 screen, that covers almost all of the window.
Holding a regular compass either in main hand or off hand displays your coordinates and cardinal direction in the action bar.

Moreover, any player, no matter they are operator or not, can use this command to quickly share their coordinates and their current dimension it is in chat with the following command:

/trigger my.pos

Awesome data pack! Would love if there were a config option to enable coordinates when just having the compass in your inventory rather than holding :)

Perhaps functionality with the recovery compass is possible? Maybe it could additionally display the coords of the player's last death!
