    Blooming Biosphere is a datapack packaged as a mod for minecraft 1.20 - 1.20.2 which overhauls every overworld biome and adds 7 brand new ones! This mod aims to upgrade the looks and atmosphere of the overworld while not straying too far from vanilla minecraft's aesthetics.

    Additionally, this mod only uses vanilla blocks, which means that vanilla clients can join a server with it without having to install it themselves.

    🍄 Features

    • Diverse biome generation with fallen logs, boulders, coarse dirt and stone formations, and unique flowers for every biome.
    • Vastly improved trees, with each type of tree for every biome being unique and coming in various shapes and sizes.
    • Brand new biomes added that are meant to complement existing overworld biomes and add to the overworld as a whole.
    • Improved grass, vegetation, and sky colors for many biomes.
    • Improved biome placement for biomes such as swamps and mangrove swamps, which now spawn more reliably.
    • Attention to detail, with every corner of the overworld being given more polish and each biome standing out from each other.

    Very nicely done. I like that it uses vanilla blocks to create biomes that enhance the vanilla experience vs other mods that add more wood types. Great job.

    If I could wish for more from this mod, it would be increased foliage colors if possible. For example I really like the dark forest leaf color changes, however I wish there were touches of green mixed in. But that would just be the icing on the cake. Great job!, I can see myself using this in my next world. Definity gets a diamond from me!

    i love this so much. but there is a problem. i cant progress in the survival world i made with this because i am too busy admiring the landscape

    geophilic: no point really because this also overhauls every biome but in a more drastic way
