How to install Minecraft Data Packs

This datapack adds cave golems to your Minecraft world! Cave golems are new unique mobs, they spawn random in caves.

Download the datapack and drop the file into the datapacks folder of your minecraft world. Open your world and type /reload.
The datapack works on 1.16.5 - 1.20.1 and doesn't require a resource pack.



SPAWN CONDITIONS:
Cave golems can spawn random in caves below layer 56, regardless of light levels. They appear, when a player is near. But they can also be summoned with spawn eggs. To get cave golem spawn eggs type the command: /function cave_golem:spawn_eggs.

BEHAVIOR:
Cave golems are neutral mobs. They become hostile when a player attacks them or the light level around them is 8 or more.

DROPS:
Cave golems drop stone variants, many xp orbs and sometimes ancient debris.

HEALTH AND ATTACK DAMAGE:
Cave golems are strong mobs, they have 40 hearts and deal 2-3 hearts damage to the player. Their biggest weakness? They don't like pickaxes with efficiency!

This pack is amazing and fun! Would you consider making the cave golem spawn in only 0 light level like other mobs? Or give players the ability to choose? I ask this because we have a ton of underground cave builds but don't want the golem attacking just because there is a light source near by. It would be fun to come across him when exploring but not spawn in lit up caves. And although I understand why you only allow 3 to spawn in at a time, it would be amazing if you gave players the ability to specify how many can spawn in a world if that is even possible. Thanks for considering these changes.
