Minecraft: Java Edition - Data Pack
Craft Chainmail into something worth using! This datapack allows you to add a health modifier to chainmail armor and elytras.
(Elytras will get netherite plating as well)
Textures🌄
Hit the advancements key to see in game info and help!
Instead it is the last piece applied only.
Crafting/Usage:
Obtain a totem of undying and a nether star, put them in a crafting grid,
a knowledge book will appear, click it and you will revive a Living Totem.
Throw your Chainmail set and or Elytra on the ground and right click with the Living Totem, the Armor will be modified.
A Full set will grant you another row of health.
(When wearing the Enhanced armor on login you'll get 2 full health bars so you don't have to eat every login.)
Thank you for checking out the pack!
I hope you enjoy!
Inspired by a Transaction in my other pack "Blockmart".

Have something to say?
'rpg mo' the url for browser is rpg.mo.ee, and is available on steam in case anyone's curious, but that artwork was originally from that game. This artwork appears in the download of rpg mo from steam.
in 1.16 this will not work due to the "generic.maxHealth" being changed to generic.max_Health
but even with that tweak on my server all it gives is the armor with no bonuses to health but also NO armor values. just NULLS.
I shall release a fixed version for 1.16 soon.
Timber Forge makes some solid content tho, Ill look into that more in the near future.
(The current anvil crafting method is the lazy cop-out on the code side.)
There is also an issue with using the .json files as, our Mojang overlords have not seen fit to allow us to edit nbt in custom item files. It would also be somewhat impractical for this method, currently the chainmail retains its name and enchants if it had any and is simply upgraded with health modifiers and a display tag, all of which wouldn't be viable in the knowledge book method.
