You find the normal leather armor boring and useless? This datapack adds 3 different animated armors to minecraft!

Rainbow Armor
This armor is only cosmetic. If equipped, it changes relatively smooth throughout the colors of the rainbow.

Light Level armor
This armor changes its color depending on the light level. Its colors are inspiried by the hypixel crystal armor. If the helmet is equipped, it also shows above the hotbar if your position is "save" or if monsters are able to spawn. If you wear the full armor set it shows you the exact light level above your hotbar.

Health armor
The Health armor changes its color depending on your health. It can be useful in PVP/Minigames, as example you can force players during a minigame to wear an health armor helemt, so they can see if the opponent has low health.


How to obtain: There are two ways to obtain the armor:
1. Use the Commands. You can use /function rainbow:give/give_rainbow, /function rainbow:give/give_light, /function rainbow:give/give_health or /function rainbow:give/give_all to obtain all armor sets at once.

2. Custom tags. You can add rainbow:1b, health:1b or light:1b to the give command of an leather armor piece to get the respective armor.

Note: This datapack is in german, but it is fully translatable. You can add the en_us.json file in the downloaded zip to a resource pack to translate it to english, or you can use it as a template to translate it to any other language.

o/ Just a suggestion but maybe you could change the tags to disco:rainbow, disco:health, and disco:light so its easier to remember.

Great datapack either way!

No, you don't need a resource pack normally, but you can create one with the en_us.json file in the zip if you like to translate the few words into english, for example "Lichtlevel" to "Light level"
