Every person that has played Minecraft faced this problem: too much cobblestone!.

This data pack solves that problem by creating an infinite (2,147,483,647 items) cobblestone storage.

To create a container rename a cobblestone block to CobbleStorage and drop it to a barrel or a single chest and you are done!

To store cobblestone drop it to your CobbleStore container using Ctrl + Q (if you hold Q you might loose items).

To take cobblestone of the container sneak near the CobbleStore container.

To remove a CobbleStore container just destroy the chest or the barrel and you will get all your cobblestone back (might take a while)

Would it be difficult to edit the datapack to hold different items? Could you explain that if it's relatively simple for somebody who has no experience in making datapacks?

No. The container is locked; you will only loose the items
