Hey everyone!

This small datapack allows the player to give sign text colors! Every line can have its own color, and can be either normal or bold!


Getting the menu

In order to see the menu, you need to run the following command:
/trigger cs.colorSignAfter running this command, you should see the following menu:

Using the menu

In order to use the menu, you need to be standing inside a sign. Then, you select one of the 16 colors by clicking one of the squares. If you want the text to be bold, click "Bold". Then, click on which line you want to have this styling.

I know this isn't a big data pack, but it seems like something which could be cool! I hope you enjoy!

Not all the features, in vanilla you can dye a sign a single color, using this you can have every single line a unique color. Also in vanilla you can't make text bold on signs, using this datapack you can. Also, this works independantly of the colored outline that is given using glow inksacs, so you can have interesting combinations.

Just because you can't think of any use doesn't mean there aren't any.

Brilliant! I just wanted to make this data pack since I tried experimenting with more visible colored signs but they instantly turn back to normal text as soon as I finish the text editing on a sign. I'm glad you've made this pack! Thank you. Nicely done.

This is mainly for survival players, and the clickable signs would have then have problems with it running commands, which survival players aren't supposed to be able to do. Also, it would be very hard to create.
