    Information



    Use any dye along with trims to customize your armor. This works with
    all trims and armor like how you would do it with any other material.


    You need the resource pack in order for you to see the custom armor
    trims. Without it you would see the missing texture texture. If you find
    any bugs you can report them to my discord server.

    1.21.5+ Note


    In order to be able to trim items, you may need to drop them on the ground first.

    How to install

    • On the server / singleplayer install the datapack and enable it. Restart the server afterwards for the smithing table to work.
    • On the client equip the resource pack in order to see the textures. This is required to do.

    El datapack se bugea cuando pongo ese armor trim a una armadura y le pongo el color que quiero no importa si es en snapshot o en versiónes estándar o de mods, porque sale una X podrías corregirlo

    im trying to do something similar, but no matter what i cannot get the items to be the correct color could you give me any insights

    I'm guessing you mean something like the icon for this.Colorful Trims You have to edit the item model for all armor types with the trim_type. You can look at the resource pack for this to see what I mean. You then have to create more models for each item that layer the trim onto the armor item. This is pretty complicated and time consuming but programs like notepad++ and windows power tools helped me out. This is all I am able to help but I suggest looking through the resource pack for what I did.
