Does anyone realize that in 1.8 you didn't need a regular golden apple to craft a god apple? If you could make it just like it used to be (apple with 8 gold blocks) this would be slightly better.

Annoying Mojang removed the crafting recipe for God Apples(a.k.a. Notch Apples)
But this datapack should add it back. Thank you.

This is good, but would be even better if for each slot that needs to be filled with a gold block, would need 9 blocks
