This datapack allows all players to choose their name color out of minecraft's 16 default colors by using the command /trigger name_color

Added a data pack settings menu
Added the option to disable the name_color command in case you just want a specific default color or you want to lock name colors
Added an option to have a default team and name color
Added the default option in the name color menu
Default settings are enabled when the data pack initiates

Hey! I have your datapack on my realm, the issue we're coming up with is that the names don't stay the colours, they seem to reset after a while without any reasoning. Is there a way to completely set the colours as they are so we're not having to re-do it every single time we open the game? Thankyou!

No. This uses minecraft's default 16 colors which are the only colors you can use for name colors. Other text elsewhere can have any hexcolor value.

Thats a great idea! My only limitations would be that the ranks would be preset in terms of how they look unless the user knows how to add teams and change their display. However, a simple version where people could just have a few simple ranks would be easy to code. I'll add it to my ideas list.

have it set up so that it only works if the player has a tag then bam you have yourself a rank system u say ok you bought the rank so ima give you this tag and now you can change your name that should help
