Required Resource Pack
12
Dear PlanetMinecraft mods, if you see this and you're like "heh, that's not a predicate, what a nerd." you didn't have any modifiers for "adding custom things" or "paintings" or anything like that, and yes I am a nerd.
To use this, you may have to extract it from the zip file, I'm unsure about that, but when that's done all you need to do is open a world, open your resource pack section, make sure your resource pack is loaded, and then click on the "open pack folder button." From there, head back a folder (into Saves) and open your world. Then, if there's a folder labeled "datapacks", ensure that the datapack is put into there.
You'll want to make sure that the "Creations" folder is the only folder you see when you open the datapacks folder, and in it should be the data, pack.mcmeta, and pack.png files. If this isn't the case, I'm not sure what to say, but feel free to reach out to me to remedy the problem.
I'm unsure what the earliest version one could use this data pack / resource pack is, so please just refrain from going back to when paintings were first added with it, as I'm 90% sure it won't work.
Please note that this is part one of two, and if you just have the datapack no actual textures will be displayed.
The actual textures will be linked in the following resource pack. Have fun! :D

Have something to say?
If you'd want to make it reliant on server sided stuff, I think a mod would suit your needs best because you can modify essentially anything and specifically call the uh- server sided events, although mixins seem a bit confusing to me on Fabric and stuff.
