    Welcome to Minecraft Paint!

Don't forget the resource pack :)

This pack provides a new tool that you can use to colour your world - the Paint Brush!

This isn't like other Paint Brushes out there... it's doesn't draw scribbles or mark up blocks - it has a different purpose. It's used to change the colour of colourable blocks (i.e. wool) to another colour whenever you like! The Paint Brush changes the colour of all varieties of the following blocks:
    • Wool
    • Carpet
    • Stained Glass
    • Stained Glass Pane
    • Terracotta
    • Glazed Terracotta
    • Concrete Powder
    • Concrete
It also adds colour to colourless colourable blocks:
    • Glass
    • Glass Pane
    • Terracotta

To craft your Paint Brush, you'll need 2 Sticks, 2 Strings, and 3 Feathers:

In order to paint, you'll need a Paint Bucket in the desired colour.... keep reading for more info!

For painting with the Paint Brush, you'll need to craft some paint as well. Each Paint Bucket uses a similar recipe that needs 4 Dye, 1 Slime Ball, 1 mound of Sugar, and a Bucket. Here's an example for the Cyan Paint Bucket:

All of these recipes will display a Knowledge Book as the crafted item (as shown in one of the project pics), however you'll receive the correct item when you click on it.

Once you have your desired Paint Bucket in the off-hand, use your Paint Brush (right-click with it) on a colourable block to change its colour!

    Blue blue.... Lagoon blue blue...

    Enjoy!

I can only imagine how painful all of the copy-pasting required must have been. I've been through that kind of thing before.

lol nah, I generate stuff like that procedurally...

Otherwise I'd never have been able to program 200 written books with different text in Ultimate Tarot without pulling my hair out :)

In this case, since the commands only differ in one or two spots as they go, using an Excel spreadsheet was the right pick. Basically, the constant parts of the command go in a cell, a variable part in the next cell, and so forth. Each command takes a row, and a cell at the end of the row concatenates the cells in the row.

For something that requires much more code (such as creating 1000 Random Dimensions), I just whip up a small application that takes in whatever input I give it, and sh*ts out what I need :).
