This datapack adds customizable snow globes to survival Minecraft!

To craft them, make the usual beacon recipe, but use an Ender Pearl instead of a Nether Star.
Place the Snow Globe on the ground, and then punch it to start capturing the surrounding area.
The Snow Globe captures a 9x9x9 area, centered two blocks above the Snow Globe.

If you want to pick up the Snow Globe, punch it while sneaking to collect it and anything inside.

Installation
1. Download the ZIP file. Don't unzip it!
2. Place the ZIP file into the datapacks folder of your world (.minecraft > saves > worldname)
3. If the world is open already, type /reload with cheats enabled, or exit and re-enter the world

NOTE: This datapack probably has some bugs! I made it in just a few hours and don't feel like thoroughly testing it. If it gets popular enough and there are dire issues, I'll come back and update it. Additionally, the Snow Globe doesn't properly copy block states (stairs, torches, etc) or multi-blocks (doors, beds, etc). Again, I may update it in the future, but this is really just a proof of concept.

in 23w06a (newest snapshot) there is a way to display blocks that aren’t actually there + u can scale them in any way (same goes for items and text)
