Dyeable Shulkers
For Minecraft 1.16 to 26.2


The Dyeable Shulkers Datapack adds a feature from Minecraft Bedrock Edition that is still missing in the Java version of the game. That is, that you can dye live shulkers into various colors. In Bedrock, that is done by right-clicking them (like a sheep), but this datapack makes it occur by dropping the dye on them. Pretty simple pack, but it works very well.

I think you misunderstand what this datapack does. It lets you dye the Shulker Mob, not the box you store items in.
On Bedrock you can dye Shulker Mobs like you would a sheep.

It it possible to let the colored shulkers drop colored variants of the shulkershells? And with those, you can craft colored shulker boxes! Would be really cool.

Possible, but not something I'm gonna do. You can just dye the shulker boxes after.
