📖 Description


Enchantments Encore adds a vast array of new enchantments to the game which can be obtained in any vanilla way. Some are obtainable in loot chests or in an enchanting table, others are tradable at villager. Even mobs can spawn with some of the new enchantments on their equipment.

The datapack also adds a unique Structure which has always a guaranteed enchantment from this data pack in it.

🤝 Compabilities


Enchantments Encore is compatible with all Vanilla Enchantments as well as NeoEnchant+ and Enchantments of Katters Structures.

Any other enchantment data pack probably will also be compatible but most likely will not have mutual exclusivities to Enchantment Encores enchantments.

In addition to that the latest versions also support Enchantment Descriptions and Enchantment Lore.

🛠️ How to, Instructions & Commands


The datapack usually just needs to be installed. There is nothing else you have to do. It just works out of the box.

But if you are playing on a PaperMC Server (or a PaperMC Fork like Purpur) make sure to set allow-non-player-entities-on-scoreboards in your paper config files to true in order for everything to work properly.

Changes:- Aspect enchantments are now compatible with sharpness again- Added Path Speed enchantment- Removed Splash Arrow enchantments- Added Lingering enchantment: Applies to Cross-/Bows and leaves behind a lingering cloud with the effect of the shot tipped arrow when hitting a block- Added Ping Tag enchantment: Applies to all Weapons and indicates that an entity has been hit by playing a ping sound
Fixes:- Website not showing all available items for Curse of Randomness- End Speed & Sand Speed giving off soul particles- Added missing translation for End speed

I'd like to ask, what would happen if I uninstalled the datapack from my server? Would it cause issues?

Since Enchantments are data driven they'll just unregister from your server like they never been there. As for the structure - that might throw some ugly message in ur log but wouldn't do any harm.

Will there be a backport? I love this mod but it isnt available before 1.21 and it doesnt work when I apply it to any previous version (in this case, 1.20.1)

hey when I attempt to visit the wiki I get warnings from Firefox about it being a phish link. I click "continue anyways" and it takes me to a DNS block for the same reason.
did the wiki get hacked?

wiki.explorerseden.eu and enchantments.explorerseden.eu are (according to Cisco Umbrella) "phish links"
maybe check in with your website host about this? I can't be the only one having this issue.

I am very confused as to what 'Treasure' and 'Non-Treasure' mean. I figure it has something to do with fishing, but I don't want to spend hours doing that just to come up empty handed and not even figure out if it was bad luck or if those enchantments are not in the fishing item pool.

Hey there,

Those are basically list references the game uses to distribute where enchantments can be obtained from. Non Treasure for example is a list which is used in most sources by the game (It basically means it's available everywhere). As for treasure - that is one which is used by some chest loot table.



Fishing uses the "on random loot" list for it's enchantment loot (the non treasure list is also include in this one)
