This page is no longer maintained. For updates (such as 2.0, which completely overhauled the datapack), see the Modrinth page.
This update makes it so that instead of being triggered by a certain firework star, it's instead by a custom enchantment called "Rocket Jump", makes it no longer do terrain damage, and gives you increased manoeuvrability in the air after launching with it. Basically, it's now actually good
Description of the old version, which can still be found here:
Explosive Manoeuvres adds explosive fireworks. Simply craft a "big ball" firework using the firework star crafted with a fire charge, and you'll make a firework that can deal damage to the world! As well as dealing increased entity damage, it deals an extremely large amount of knockback, effectively letting you rocket jump! Normal crossbows focus most of this horizontally, whereas multishot crossbows add a lot of vertical knockback too (and increase horizontal). Multishot crossbows focus all of the explosivity in one of the fireworks and are also quite volatile, sometimes one or two of the fireworks explode prematurely when shooting.
This means it can be used both as a weapon, and also as a movement method
It's fully survival friendly, and really fun to use - just don't forget your blast resistance!
