Description:
Make your vanilla experience slightly more realistic. This datapack is mainly for those who want to force their friends to play Minecraft "correctly" by making them use their bed, discouraging them from eating uncooked food, making them drink water regularly, and stopping them from simply accepting the damage they take from large falls.
Disclaimer: There's no "correct" way to play Minecraft
Honestly... when you think about it... this datapack just adds minor inconveniences to vanilla gameplay, but it's not super intrusive. Enjoy!
Updates:
Mar 6, 2020: Added ability to configure out features in the config file
Added 'Mechanics':
1. Hydration timer: Warns you when you haven't had water in a while, gives you permanent nausea after a few warnings until you drink water (or any potion).
2. Sleep timer: Warns you when you haven't slept in a while, makes you slow and weak permanently after a few warnings until you sleep.
3. Bed healing: Heals you a significant amount if you sleep the night away.
4. Broken ankles: If you fall and hit the ground from large distances you break your ankles (get slowness).
5. Bad food: Adds instant damage and depletes most of your hunger bar (if not all) upon consuming raw foods.
Custom Configuration:
(Note: You may also choose to use the default configuration)
1. Open the Healthy Lifestyle datapack
2. Navigate to data > healthy_living > functions > lifestyle > config
3. Feel free to edit the numbers as indicated in the config file to your liking
How to install:
1. Download the datapack
2. Locate your Minecraft world file
3. Navigate to [world name] > "datapacks"
4. Drag and drop the healthy-lifestyle-datapack.zip to the datapacks folder
5. Extract the pack (it will extract cleanly in its own directory)
Uninstall of Datapack:
/function healthy_lifestyle:scripts/uninstall
