This datapack has not been tested on any version other than Java 1.17.1 and 1.18, but should work from Java version 1.13+ as there are only 3 basic commands: scoreboard, effect, and function.


Description


Have you ever wanted a fast horse in Minecraft without having to selectively breed them for months? What about a horse that can be given a speed boost at will?

If you answered yes or no to either of these questions, then this datapack is for you!

Simply use a regular firework rocket while riding a horse (right click with the firework rocket selected while pointing at the ground) to give the horse a temporary speed boost, just like with an Elytra!

Note: The rocket's flight duration has no effect on the speed boost, so don't waste gunpowder on flight duration 2 or 3 rockets!
