Hydration
  • This datapack adds a hydration bar that you need to keep above 1 or else you die.
  • Hyrdrate by drinking a bottle of water or any potion.

history
a boss bar cannot be displayed in different ways to different players. a boss bar has the same value for everyone, since it is global, so it does not work (in fact, all players see the same seat bar). not to mention that the bossbar is very flashy, it's not very confortable to have it on the screen. if you change the bossbar for a text (tellraw, scoreboard) it would be very good and could start to work in multiplayer

Do bottles of honey provide hydration?

Since honey isn't coded as a potion it doesn't work sorry about that.
