Kyleong's KeepInventory is a datapack that make experiences and a limited amount of item drop when /gamerule keepInventory is set to true. This datapack makes keep inventory less powerful and has some kind of drawback.
The drop slots are randomly selected
This datapack is multiplayer compatible
-the number of XP drops obeys vanilla Minecraft: drop XP point value (maximum 100) = XP level when alive * 7
click the button (blue) on the /reload message or type command /function kyleong_keepinventory:settings/menu
just click the green/ red button to change options.
Drop Xp and Drop Item can be set to True/ False
There are 3 Drop Item Mode: Drop All, Keep First Slot and Keep Armor
The Number of Slots Drop can be set from 41 to 1. (player only have 41 slots in total)
It is possible to exclude specific players from the effect of this datapack (making them keep all items and xp, vanilla keepinventory behavior):
enter this command to exclude:
/scoreboard players set "Name of the excluding player" kki_exclude 1
enter this command to undo:
/scoreboard players set "Name of the player" kki_exclude 0
Example:
/scoreboard players set kyleong kki_exclude 1
please do /function kyleong_keepinventory:uninstall before uninstalling this datapack (remove the .zip file).

One request I'd make is the ability to exempt specific players. Some of us more hardcore folks enjoy a challenge when we play alongside our more casual friends.
If this is possible, that would be awesome! Even if it isn't, it's still an awesome datapack and very useful!
