This data pack adds a new structure to Minecraft: The mangrove ruins! The mangrove swamp is a great biome with a really nice atmosphere, but there is no incentive to explore it. With this data pack, you will have a reason to explore this biome in order to find these mysterious ruins and the loot inside of them. I tried to design the structure and loot tables as something mojang would add in the game, so don't worry about this feeling too unvanilla.

Find the structure with /locate structure mangrove_ruins:mangrove_ruins
Mangrove ruins have some variety, so try exploring a few different structures.

Changed the froglight in one of the towers from ochre to pearlescent so it matches the type given by the nearby frog.
Buffed the generic loot table so diamonds and emeralds are more common and there are more items per chest.
Fixed a bug where a wall would connect to a slab in one of the substructures.

I completely agree with JustAnUpcomingServerOwner. There's a strange glitch in my husband's computer where he can't download Forge or Fabric (fixable, we know, but not without whacking other stuff he's got set up) so having a vanilla-friendly mod for the End would be awesome. Thanks so much for this mod! :D

Since you are asking for further ideas, you should make somehing for the end (or maybe the nether). There seems to be almost no datapacks for the end even though it is objectively a very boring place that could easily be improved.
