This was originally from my "Minecraft But It's Insanely Hard" datapack and is therefore incompatible with it.
Do you ever feel like Minecraft ought to be scarier? Do you not get enough scares from Minecraft? No? Just me?
ok... Be prepared for jump-scares and well... More jump-scares?
With update 2.0 there is now a creature that chases you. You can run but it will always find you; it will always catch up and it will kill you.
For the best experience:
-Please download the resource pack
-Set you render distance to minimum (It's more spooky that way.)
-If you have optifine set your fog start to 0.2 in "details".
-Play in single player, it isn't multiplayer friendly - Also friends always make things less scary. ; )

- Enemies that touch you latch on to you for a second before dealing big damage, similar to classic Resident Evil.
- The Smoke Creature needs a proper name, and it should be hurtable to temporarily ward it off; make it have a physical form every so often that you can hit.
- Smoke guy shouldn't be a single hit kill no matter what, instead make him latch on like the rest and require 2 hits for a kill.
- Armor should count in to that latching damage I mentioned earlier.
- NO JUMPSCARES ON DEATH. Hallucinations should remain, though.
- Make Big Smoke slower, it's way scarier knowing there's something out there slowly stalking towards you to kill you. Having something on your ass all the time is scary for a few minutes before being blatantly irritating.
- Silence is scarier than loud violins. Make the ambience far more subtle.
- Tone down Smoker. I can't even cut down a tree without hearing him and having to run!
All in all, it could be better, but what you've accomplished is still outstanding!
