My search for an actually working Manhunt/Tracker datapack became far too long, and so I decided I had to do it myself.
This datapack gives "hunter" players a player tracker, (carrot on a stick) and right clicking will face the hunter's view towards the nearest "runner" player. This can be used to play Minecraft Manhunt.
Features:
doesn't break spawnpoints
works in all dimensions
hunters respawn with trackers
automatically sets up teams, colors and friendly fire options
Explanation of interdimensional tracking
When using the player tracker, the game will remember where the runner was. If the runner enters another dimension, the tracker will point to that remembered position.
