This is Minecraft Techified -- a datapack created for the IMAGEination Datapack Jam 2. The theme I derived from the image was gadgets and technology, so that is what my datapack is about. I see the image as the secret lab of some reclusive scientist hidden away underground.
This pack adds a few craftable gadgets that will help you when exploring the world. Scattered throughout the world are structures with that contain hidden laboratories with strange experiments inside.

Items:
-- Glider: crafted with wind charges and phantom membranes. It can be worn like an elytra, but it is far less durable.
-- Echo Goggles: crafted with redstone and echo shards. Thes goggles give you infinite night vision.
-- Snorkel: crafted with redstone, pufferfish, and turtle scutes. Works like a turtle shell.
-- Armored elytra: an elytra that offers protection points.
-- Shrink Rod: a magically/sciency gizmo that allows you to shrink yourself or return to normal size at will.

Note: I am not necessarily finished working on this pack. I made it on a time crunch, so it may be light on features. More may come in the future if I feel like adding them.

The gadgets, while not too interesting from face-value, are great for survival gameplay. For example, the Glider and Armored Elytra offer an early-game and late-late-game elytra options for survival mode players. I also like the castle structure. What seems to be like an ordinary Minecraft castle has a dungeon and hidden laboratory underneath. I also thought it was pretty clever to use a carved pumpkin for the snorkel, and set the block interaction range to 0 to stop the player from placing it down. One issue, however, is due to the size of the structure it lead to some odd, unfavorable generation.

Yeah, I was in a hurry and didn't completely debug the structure. I plan on tweaking it later when I can, but I didn't have time before the entry period began due to work. I am pretty happy with the basic structure, but I want to add rooms and tweak the biomes it can generate in. Structure gen is not my expertise, but I hope it's not game-breaking, at least.

I wouldn't say it's game-breaking. The structure still functioned as intended. It just looked, odd, lol. The outer fence/wall generated a weird cave around itself that went into the surrounding mountains. And don't worry, I get how tricky structure gen can be. I'm used to stuff happening like this in my packs all the time. All-in-all, you did very well with the time allotted.
